Use this page to control whether The Silverlake Lounge shares information about your visit with Meta and TikTok for advertising. You can change your mind here at any time, and doing so will never affect the service you get from us.

JavaScript is turned off in your browser. That means the advertising pixels cannot run at all, so you are already opted out. No action is needed.

What this setting does

Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok provide tracking tools, called pixels, that tell those platforms when a browser has visited this website. We keep them available so that, when we do advertise a show, we can tell whether the money spent on it did anything. Campaigns come and go, so this setting applies whether or not one is running today.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, passing that information to an advertising platform is "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands. California residents have the right to opt out of it, which is what the buttons above do.

If you opt out, or if you have not made a choice, the pixel scripts are never loaded by this website and nothing is sent to Meta or TikTok. We do not simply set a flag and carry on collecting; the code does not run.

Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC), a signal your browser or a browser extension can send automatically to every site you visit. If we detect GPC, we treat it as a binding opt-out, we do not load the pixels, and we will not ask you to override it. GPC is the easiest way to opt out everywhere at once rather than site by site. Things worth knowing

Your choice is stored in your own browser, not in an account with us. If you use a different browser or device, or clear your browsing data, you will need to set it again.
This setting does not affect our mailing list. To stop those emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email us.
This setting does not affect the hosting and security processing our provider Cloudflare carries out, which is strictly necessary to serve the page and cannot be switched off.
We will never charge you a different price, refuse you entry, or give you a worse experience because you opted out.
